This website is owned and operated by GLEN ECHO CRAFTS. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors while they interact with the content, products and services on all sites accessible at the domain glenechocrafts.com. This includes our website www.glenechocrafts.com. This policy does not apply to other, third-party websites to which we link.

How We Use Your Information

We reserve the right to contact you regarding matters relevant to the underlying services provided and/or the information collected. In addition, with your direct consent, we will send you ongoing publications, news, articles, promotions, offers etc.

Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want you to understand what information we collect about you, how we collect it, how that information is used, and how you can control our disclosure of it. You agree that your use of our websites signifies your agreement to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our sites or services.

We collect two types of information from you:

1) Information that you voluntarily provide to us

2) Information that is derived through automated tracking mechanisms.

Voluntary Registration Information

We only use your personal information for the original purposes it was given or gathered. We will not disclose, use, give or sell any personal information to third parties for any purposes other than to our suppliers/providers and other third parties who need to know in order to deliver services on our behalf or unless required to do so by law.

We collect personally identifiable information when you choose to use certain features of our websites, including:

1) Sending messages through our contact forms

2) Checking out

3) Consenting to receive emails about upcoming promotions, offers or events

4) Consenting to receive ongoing publications and other digital content

5) Consenting to receive email from us

6) Commenting on blog posts, articles, products and other content

When you choose to use these features of our site, we require you to provide any information necessary for completing your request, including but not always limited to your name, email, company name, contact phone number, billing and shipping addresses.

How We Gather Your Contact Information

Contact Forms

If you contact us through our “Contact Us” form(s) on our websites it should be considered the same as sending us an email. You are giving us consent by way of an obligation to respond to your inquiry. We will only contact you regarding that specific inquiry and will not add you to any separate distribution list.

Just like sending email, we capture the IP Address of the sender for spam protection purposes. We also capture the email address and might capture other personal data included in the form fields. When visitors or users submit a contact form we retain the data on the web server for 30 days. The conversation in email form and on our email servers may be deleted right away or stored indefinitely and archived by us at the end of the dialogue, depending on the nature and contents of the conversation, legalities and the impact to our business.

Blog and Article Comments

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Opting In to Email and Marketing Campaigns

You will see several opportunities throughout our website to subscribe or “opt-in” to our email list and subscription campaigns. In order to participate in those campaigns, you must give us explicit consent in order to do so.

In opting-in you are also giving us permission to use your email address and/or phone number with our advertising provider, Facebook. We upload this hashed file into our advertiser account where it is used to find others (called a look alike audience) with similar interests and characteristics with those in our list who may also be interested in our products and services. If you later decide to opt-out of our subscription(s) we will also delete your information from the aggregate list that we upload to Facebook.

You can access Facebook’s Privacy Policy Here: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

You can access Facebook’s Ad Settings Manager Feature Here https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen

You can request to remove consent, view, update and/or delete your information at any time by following the instructions in the footer of the emails. In addition, you may send an email to glenechocrafts@gmail.com. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to implement your opt-out requests promptly, but you may still receive communications from us for up to ten business days as we process your request.

Information We Collect Automatically

Analytics and Data Usage

We permit certain trusted third parties (e.g. Google Analytics) to track usage, analyze data such as an anonymized tracking ID, the date and time of the page request, the referring Web site (if any) and other parameters in the URL.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and for business and administrative purposes. We may also use or share with third parties for any purpose aggregated data that contains no personally identifiable information.

This is collected in order to better understand our Website usage and enhance the performance of services to maintain and operate the Site and certain features on the Site.

Website and Email Server and Hosting

We use third parties to host our websites; operate various features available on the Site; send emails; analyze data; provide search results and links and assist in fulfilling your orders. We may share personally identifiable or other information with our parent, subsidiaries, divisions, service providers and affiliates for those purposes.

Our use of Third-Party Cookies to Advertise to you on Other Websites

We will use personal information gathered either voluntarily or through automated mechanisms to target advertisements toward you on other sites based on things such as geolocation, gender, interests, goals, habits, etc. This is commonly known as re-marketing or re-targeting.

For instance, when you visit certain pages, take certain actions or subscribe to different lists or services on our sites, we use a script that will place a cookie on your device’s browser from our advertising partners, currently Google Ads and Facebook, where we can then present advertisements to you on their platforms and their network of content publishers’ websites based on your use and preference data collected on our websites. Doing this allows us to show relevant custom-tailored advertising to those who have visited and/or demonstrated an interest in what we have to offer. Facebook allows us to build custom audiences and look-alike audiences using data from the audiences we already have…which are determined through the placement of their web beacons and cookies.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we maintain appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information and data stored on our system.
